The French Football Federation has not accepted Christophe Galtieri’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain.

The Frenchman was appointed to the coaching position at PSG last month, replacing the sacked Mauricio Pochettino.

However, the French Football Federation (FFF) does not yet recognize him as coach of the Ligue 1 champions.

According to “L’Equipe”, Galtieri’s two-year contract signed with PSG has not been approved by the Federal Commission of Football Coaches, which met on July 28, as he has not done the “requalification” of the UEFA Pro degree, a kind of updating his knowledge.

According to the regulations, every coach must take a test every three years to prove the skills in his profession.

Now, according to the French outlet, Galtier will have to write a letter to the FFF pledging to fulfill his obligation as soon as possible, with the option being the time when the national teams are playing.

Otherwise, Paris Saint-Germain start the new season in Ligue 1 this Saturday, with the match away to Clermont.
