Real Madrid has decided to sell Takefusa Kubo.
The Japanese striker signed for Real Madrid in 2019, but he has failed to make a single appearance for the first team.
Kubo spent this period on loan at Mallorca, Villarreal and Getafe.
After experiencing four loan spells, the 21-year-old will finally leave Real Madrid this summer on a permanent deal.
According to “Marca”, Real Sociedad is now close to the transfer of Kubo, after initially rejecting the possibility of his loan.
The Basque club is said to be ready to offer the Japanese a 5-year contract.
On the other hand, the former Tokyo striker is said to have withdrawn from the chance to play in the Europa League next season.
Takefusa Kubo scored two goals and contributed three assists in 30 appearances for Mallorca last season.
