Timo Werner has returned to Leipzig, where he holds the record for the best goalscorer in history, with 95 goals.
The German club has formalized his transfer from Chelsea this Tuesday.
Werner passed the medical tests today and signed a 4-year contract, valid until June 30, 2026.
He will wear number 11 again.
Chelsea will earn 20 million euros from the sale of the 26-year-old, while another 10 million are bonuses.
Werner played for Leipzig from 2016 to 2020, when he moved to Chelsea for 53 million euros.
