Luis Suarez has decided to return to Nacional, where he started his career.
The well-known striker has confirmed that he has reached an agreement with the club from Uruguay.
“Now I have reached a pre-agreement to join Nacional, it was impossible for me to say no to this opportunity,” he said in a video published on Twitter.
“I hope the final details will be settled soon to officially complete the deal,” Suarez added.
The 35-year-old will join Nacional as a free agent. He was recently part of Atletico Madrid, a club with which his contract expired on June 30.
Suarez has a sensational career in Europe, having also played for clubs such as Ajax, Liverpool and Barcelona.
“El Pistolero” started his career as a footballer precisely at Nacional. He made his debut with the first National team in 2005.
