Reading Time: < 1 minutes

At this point in mid-July, Barcelona’s summer has been one of the main stories of the transfer window.

The Catalan club are not done yet, as signing Jules Kounde is now a top priority.

After the Catalan club agreed to sign Robert Lewandowski, they have now turned their attention to the Sevilla defender.

It should not be forgotten that strengthening their defense is one of the main priorities at Camp Nou.

The back line was one of the areas that gave manager Xavi a headache last season and, despite the arrival of Andreas Christensen, the manager needs more players in the center of defense, with Kounde a priority.

However, negotiations will not be easy for two reasons. First, because of Sevilla’s demands. Secondly, because there are other clubs interested in the Frenchman

Teams such as Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea also have him in their sights.

Manchester City, at the moment, are not in the running for the player’s signature, although they are monitoring the defender.

Sevilla are aware they can make a lucrative sale, with the club demanding at least €60m for Kounde.
