Paul Pogba has left Juventus’ pre-season tour in the USA and will return for a specialist visit to Italy tomorrow, where he is expected to undergo knee surgery, but Manchester United’s doctors have been “accused” of not having intervened earlier this problem

The midfielder suffered an injury to the lateral meniscus of his right knee during a training session in Los Angeles last week. He left the US today for Italy, where he is expected to have further consultations with an orthopedic specialist.

Various sources believe that surgery is necessary, keeping Pogba out for at least a month or two.

However, reports say Juventus’ medical staff have pointed the finger at Manchester United’s for failing to deal with the problem earlier.

Pogba barely played during his final months at Old Trafford due to muscular problems in his right leg.

This is also the leg that followed the lateral meniscus injury, with their claims to Calciomercato.com and La Gazzetta dello Sport that the injury was caused by tension within the knee.

Because of this problem that has not been addressed – for which this is the reason why he will be seen by the orthopedic specialist focusing on the balance, strain and extension of one knee – damage that has accumulated until this injury.

If the operation had been done earlier, it would have prevented his other subsequent injuries.
