Inter president Steven Zhang has reportedly refused to increase his transfer budget, so Juventus are now favorites to sign Gleison Bremer.
Inter have been looking for the transfer of the Torino defender for a long time, but the club is said to have been blocked since it is not reaching an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for the sale of Milan Skriniari.
On the other hand, Juventus sold Matthijs de Ligt to Bayern Munich for 80 million euros, thus giving them the opportunity to immediately pay the price of 40 million euros demanded by Torino for Bremer.
And, the Italian journalist, Alfredo Pedulla, has warned that “The Nerazzurri” cannot now compete with the “Old Lady”.
According to him, the request from the directors of the Inter club for an increase in the budget was rejected by president Zhang. The Milan club are now said to be able to offer just €30m – plus some bonuses – to take the player on loan with an obligation to buy.
From this whole situation at Inter, Juventus seems to have benefited and is now the favorite for the transfer of the 25-year-old.
Everything will now depend on the Brazilian defender, who remains to be seen whether he will agree to join Juventus, or wait for Inter.
Juventus is said to have also offered the defender, Gleison Bremer, a salary of 4 million euros per season, i.e. more than Inter who offered him 3 million.
