Gwinn’s reveals Popp’s final words after passing on captaincy: “She said ‘Have fun with the crew’.”

After officially concluding her German national career last night in Duisburg, German female footballing legend Alexandra Popp commented on what it felt like to remove her captain’s armband for the final time.  Newly-anointed DFB-captain Giulia Gwinn, meanwhile, revealed what Popp whispered in her ear as she officially marked the transition after coming off in the 15th minute.
