Gennaro Gattuso is optimistic that his team will be strengthened with Edinson Cavani.
The Uruguayan striker is looking to start a new adventure in La Liga, with Valencia and Real Sociedad in the running.
The coach of Valencia, Gennaro Gattuso, has confirmed the talks with Cavani, as he expressed optimism that he will sign with the “Bats”.
“I am an optimist by nature, we are working, we are talking, I think we have a chance. Peter Lim is working hard and I think we will sign Cavani because Lim has a lot of faith in those chances at the moment,” said the Italian coach.
“When you talk about Cavani, he is not a normal player, he has played at big clubs and at high levels for a long time. He is 35 years old, but he has an incredible mentality, I am talking about the technical part, not about the money, it is not my problem and they are two different things. The problem is that many people talk during an operation and it cannot be closed in two minutes,” added Gattuso.
