Matthijs de Ligt is on the verge of completing an €80 million all-out move to Bayern Munich after they agreed a deal with Juventus.

The 22-year-old Dutch centre-back is ready for the next stage of his career after three important years in Turin, where he has worked closely with experienced veterans Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci.

As reported by TMW, De Ligt is now close to signing a five-year contract with Bayern Munich worth around €10m net per season plus add-ons, slightly lower than the €11m salary he currently earns in Turin.

The Bavarian giants secured a deal after agreeing to pay Juventus €70 million in a fixed fee plus around €10 million in add-ons.

The Dutch centre-back will undergo a pre-transfer medical this week and if all goes to plan, he will commit to a five-year contract.

During his three years in Turin, De Ligt made 117 appearances in all competitions for Juventus. He helped the team win a Scudetto, a Coppa Italia and a Supercoppa Italiana.
