Chelsea are trying to make three new signings before the end of the summer window, with their attack being a priority, writes The Independent.
Thomas Tuchel is highly regarded in attack and is still looking for a number nine. While Pierre-Emerick Aubameyan remains an option from Barcelona, ??Chelsea are also looking at other options.
Crystal Palace striker Wilfried Zaha presents an option who also plays on the wing, although Tuchel would like to look for a striker who is fit for that position.
Zaha has just one year left on his contract with Crystal Palace and has been looking to play in the Champions League for several years now.
Crystal manager Patrick Vieira does not seem likely to sanction such a move until the club finds a suitable alternative, although there are few in the days of this deadline.
So Chelsea intends to transfer two strikers and a midfielder by the end of this term, although there is very little time left for this.
