Marco Asensio is looking to leave Real Madrid before the summer transfer window closes.
According to “TodoFichajes”, the footballer has decided to give Jorge Mendes permission to find him a club.
The two favorite clubs for his transfer are currently reported to be Manchester United and Arsenal.
The 26-year-old can reunite with his former teammates, Raphael Varane, Cristiano Ronaldo and Casemiro at Old Trafford, but the Gunners have been interested in him for some time now. Mikel Arteta’s ability to convince the player can make the difference.
Carlo Ancelotti recently said that he appreciates the Spain international as part of his team, however Asensio may be short of minutes again if he stays at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The former Espanyol player is looking for minutes, as he wants to receive an invitation from the Spanish National Team for the “Qatar 2022” World Championship.
Marco Asensio has a valid contract with Real Madrid until June 30, 2023.
