Arsenal are reportedly planning to attempt to sign Moussa Diaby from Bayer Leverkusen.
The French international has attracted a lot of interest from clubs across Europe after recording an excellent season.
Diaby contributed 13 goals and 12 assists in 32 Bundesliga games as Leverkusen secured third position in the table last season.
He also scored four goals and provided three assists in eight Europa League appearances.
The 23-year-old from Mali also has eight appearances with the French national team.
According to “Football Insider”, the owner of the Arsenal club, Stan Kroenke, has given his approval for the club to pursue Diaby.
Kroenke and other London club bosses are said to have been impressed with the squad’s development under Mikel Arteta and are prepared to do whatever it takes to sign the former Paris Saint-Germain forward.
Bayer Leverkusen are said to be demanding at least £60 million to part ways with Moussa Diaby, who has a contract with the German club until June 30, 2025.
