Finally, Ronald Araujo has extended his contract with Barcelona.
The parties have found common ground after a long time of negotiations, and the player will be part of “Blaugrana” until June 30, 2026.
The Catalan club meanwhile announces that it has set the price of the eventual termination clause of the contract of 1 million euros.
The signing of the contract will take place on April 29 at noon in the field of “Camp Nou”.
Araujo, born on March 7, 1999 in Rivera, Uruguay, has shown confidence in Barcelona, while he started his career in Rentistas, in the second division of Uruguayan football.
He later joined La Masia of Barca, where he developed as a footballer.
