Karim Benzema has no intention of stopping.
The French striker was a protagonist for Real Madrid last night in the European Super Cup match, where he scored a goal in the 2:0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.
And, this goal was quite significant for the veteran striker.
He actually overtook Real Madrid legend Raul Gonzalez to become the club’s second-highest goalscorer in history.
“BigBen” reached the quota of 324 goals with “Los Blancos”, while the former Spanish striker had scored 323 goals.
Only Cristiano Ronaldo with 450 goals is ahead of Benzema in the entire history of the most successful club in the world.
Despite being 34 years old, the former Lyon striker has reached the peak of his career and is determined to break new records and win more trophies with the club.
He is also the absolute favorite to win this year’s Ballon d’Or after helping Real win the Champions League and La Liga, plus now the European Super Cup.
