Sports journalist Edu Aguirre, one of Cristiano Ronaldo’s closest friends, has said that the Manchester United superstar has decided against joining Napoli.
Aguirre has shown this during the El Chiringuito show that the former Juventus striker does not want to join the team from South Italy.
The sports journalist is one of Ronaldo’s closest friends and often visited him in Turin when CR7 played for Juventus.
Ronaldo is looking for a way out of Old Trafford as he wants to play in the Champions League.
His agent, Jorge Mendes, has offered him to Napoli, but for United to sign Victor Osimhe for more than 100 million euros. Ronaldo would move to the Maradona Stadium but as a loan with part of the salary to be paid by the Red Devils.
However, United are now close to signing Ajax star Antony for around 100 million euros, the same investment as Osimhe.
Ronaldo scored 101 goals in 134 appearances during his three years in Turin with Juventus.
