According to what Mundo Deportivo writes, Alexander Isak had rejected Manchester United several times before joining the Magpies from Real Sociedad.
United never made a formal offer for the £57m player, but Spanish media reports that they did not “make” an offer for the player, as his agents had told the English side that he would reject them.
After that, Isak signed with Newcastle for a record transfer of this team, close to 70 million euros or 57 million pounds.
