One player who feels he can give the team a helping hand is former United striker Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez. The Mexican currently plays in the MLS for the LA Galaxy team.
He has admitted he would play for no money if United told him to return to the club.
“If you are my age and United come you will say ‘yes’, ‘I will play for you without money'”, he said at a press conference.
“Of course I would, but I will also be very grateful to LA Galaxy.”
