“Los Blancos” played a friendly match last night in San Francisco, where they faced Club American.
The champion of Spain and Europe did not achieve more than a 2:2 draw against the American team.
The goals for Carlo Ancelotti’s team were scored by Karim Benzema and Eden Hazard from the penalty spot.
The Italian coach was satisfied with the game that his team showed.
“It was a beautiful game, better compared to the one against Barcelona. At the beginning we had difficulties, and then we played well, we had control”, declared “Don Carlo” first.
He also spoke about Karim Benzema, who is expected to have another season as the protagonist at “Los Blancos”.
“Benzema is fine, he hasn’t done much exercise and he needs to improve his physical form. But, he is back in shape”, concluded Ancelotti.
