Newly promoted Monza, led by former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi, have worked to significantly strengthen their squad this summer and have had their eye on 21-year-old Ranocchia for some time now, interested in his services.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Ranocchia is set to leave Juventus to join Monza on a loan deal with an option to buy attached.
A buyback option is also included, giving the Bianconeri the chance to bring him back to Turin if he fulfills his potential in Lombardy.
Juventus signed Ranocchia in January 2019 from Perugia’s youth system for around €840,000.
After spending some time in the Bianconeri youth set-up, he spent last season on loan at Vicenza, where he made 32 appearances, scoring one goal and providing three assists in the process.
