Pep Guardiola has clarified everything about the possibility of Neymar’s transfer to Manchester City.
The French media recently wrote that the English champion has set his sights on the star of Paris Saint-Germain.
But the Spanish coach denied these rumours, assuring that the former Santos and Barcelona player will not end up at the Etihad Stadium.
“I’m sorry for ‘Le Parisien’, but it’s not true,” declared the Spanish coach before the friendly pre-season match that his team will play on Thursday against the Club America team.
He, however, praised the Brazilian footballer, who is being speculated to leave the “Park of the Princes” this summer.
“I feel sorry for them (the French media) because the information they had was false. Neymar is an incredible footballer and as far as I know, he is a very good guy. Let him prove himself in Paris”, concluded the former coach of Barcelona.
